More Cloud and Cooler
Time to say goodbye to the reasonably warm weather as another plunge of cold northerly winds affects the country for the next few days.
Wednesday starts damp in a few places but the cloud should break during the day with sunshine for many by the afternoon, but it will start to feel cooler everywhere.
By Thursday much colder air arrives with temperatures struggling to reach double figures and there will be a mixture of sunshine and showers. Winds will also pick up so it will feel very cold everywhere.
On Friday and over the weekend it remains changeable with sunshine and showers, possibly less showers over the weekend though and temperatures will slowly recover.
Bank holiday Monday though looks like being a washout with rain and wind spreading from the west.
For the rest of the week it looks like remaining unsettled with showers or longer outbreaks of rain and temperatures remaining at or below average for the time of year.
